Seattle singer/songwriter Wes Weddell built a regional following with his 2001 efforts to chronicle the stories of area residents in song, a project that earned him the inaugural Mary Gates Venture Fellowship and lives on in his "My Northwest Home" CD.

2006's "Songs to Get You From Here to There" reached further, earning a spot as one of Performing Songwriter Magazine's Top-12 DIY releases in June of 2007. Featured on the album is "Carry On," winner of the 2006 Tumbleweed Songwriting Contest, which Wes also arranged for local choral performance.

Then came "By the Side of the Lake" (2010), Wes' strongest Work to date, with the full band returning to deliver diverse arrangements that nonetheless feel crisp and of-a-piece. "The Bushwick Book Club Demos, Vol. 1" followed (2011--digital only), after a year of involvement with The Bushwick Book Club - Seattle.

A native of Pullman, Wash., Wes also keeps busy offering school programs, private instrument lessons, production assistance, and has founded Puget’s Sound Productions, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to presenting community live-music events around the region.

Also, check out this page for Wes. He is doing some pretty cool stuff and hopes to have a new CD of songs they have covered by the time his concert rolls around.
